The major corporations and government powers have bled the country dry, leaving a polluted, desolate wasteland where every animal must fight for the remaining scraps like scavengers. Democracy has crumbled. Law and order a thing of the past. Gas, booze, and ammunition are the barter of choice in this hostile new wasteland.
The only man to rise above the decay and gain absolute control over the destitute masses is the General; a decrepit, old Southern land baron with a foot in the grave and a hand on the bottle. He has his finger on the commodity that the nation cannot refuse... chickens.
THE GENERAL
Think about it. Millions of acres of arable land, poisoned by pollution, unable to produce even the most stunted crops, let alone graze cattle. The oceans? Just a toxic, oil-spilled dump where eating even the smallest shellfish would spell excruciating death. Pork? Too much religious guilt. No, only the chicken, a cheap, expendable source of nutrition and the General owns them all.
